CAREER
· Has become one of the most proficient place-kickers ever at MSU in his two campaigns as a Bulldog
· Connected on 24-of-30 (.800) of his field goal attempts during those two seasons; that rate would rank the best of
all-time at MSU if his career ended today
· Ranks tied for sixth all-time at MSU in field goals made (24) in just two years of play for the school
· Is a perfect 18-of-18 on field goal attempts inside 40 yards during his State career
· Is also a perfect 35-of-35 on point-after-touchdown tries; needs just two more in a row to tie the MSU record
· Has been true on 18 of his last 20 field goal attempts, dating back to Game 7 of 2002; the only misses during
that streak were from 50 (vs. Oregon, 2003) and 54 (at Tennessee, 2003) yards out
· Responsible for scoring 107 total points for the Bulldogs over two years time
2003
· A candidate for the 2003 Lou Groza Award
· Also a second-team preseason all-SEC selection
· Has made 8-of-10 field goals (.800) this season in limited opportunities, the only misses coming from 50 & 54
yds.; his percentage ranks him second in the SEC in `03
· True on all (19-of-19) of his PAT attempts this season
· Nailed 22- and 31-yard FG attempts at Tulane in Game 2
· Was 3-of-3 in State's win over Vanderbilt in Game 5, hitting from 34, 45 and 47 yards away
· Perfect on all kicks at Kentucky, nailing a 22-yard field goal and making both PAT tries against the Wildcats
· Threw a successful two-point conversion pass at Tennessee in Game 10
· True on both field goal attempts at Arkansas, hitting from 30 and 33 yards away
2002
· A second-team, all-SEC selection by the Associated Press after walking on the Bulldog team and winning the
starting job after two games
· Connected on 16-of-20 (.800) field goal tries during the year, leading the SEC in FG percentage; was also
second in the league in field goals made during the year (1.33 fgpg)
· Made a then-career-best, 52-yard field goal at LSU, which now ranks tied for the sixth-longest in MSU history
· Was 3-of-4 in MSU's win at Memphis, hitting from 24, 28 and 42 yards away
· Made his last 10 FG attempts of the season
· Included in that string was a 53-yard effort against Tennessee in Game 10, matching the second-longest
field goal make in Bulldog lore
