to add life to the W eb. Focused on W eb designers, consum ers, and the enterprise,
Macrom edia delivers a com pletely new generation of Internet products and
technologies designed to transform the W eb experience. Macrom edia's W eb
Publishing products help redefines Internet content. SDEI provides Functional,
Back end and Regression T esting services to Macrom edia via the Internet including
Online store, redesigned m ain website and internal web based product releases.
Quality Assurance of M acromedia Activities Overview
T hese are the activities involving the m onitoring and m aintenance of quality
param eters of all project deliverables they include:
(a) Routine quality review of deliverables and activities
(b) Form al Quality Assurance review m eetings
(c) Form al Response to Quality review reports as required
(d) Quality Assurance Project W ork Plan
(e) Monitor progress m ade towards all project deliverables
(f) Monitor progress m ade towards k ey deadlines
(g) Deploy, m anage and track project staff resources
(h) Provide Scheduled and accurate reporting to Macrom edia project team and
Macrom edia project directors as necessary
T his project involves quality assurance testing for Macrom edia. T esting is perform ed
at different Environm ents and the tools used for Quality testing is V.P.N and IRC is
used as Prim ary Com m unication tool while m oving to Production by Macrom edia we
are involved in the Front-End T esting as well as Back end T esting.
T he W eb T esting is further brok en into six sections:
(a) User Interface
Front end testing is done for Macrom edia (www.m acrom edia.com ) so that users who
have been on the web will navigate through a well-built web site.
(b) Functionality
T he Functionality of the web site is tested so that user browses from page to page and
the site better be easy to use. T esting is done for link s, form s, data verification,
cook ies and Application specific functional requirem ents.
