The purpose of the 1319 laser
treatment is to stimulate collagen. Col-
lagen is a primary support structure of
the skin. It gives the skin strength and
suppleness as well as an inherent abil-
ity to retain moisture. With aging and
as a result of exposure to the sun, our
collagen fiber components begin to
weaken, become less pliant and more
hardened. The result is the develop-
ment of dry, wrinkled skin that has lost
its inherent elasticity. This treatment
will help to rebuild the collagen matrix
of the skin. This procedure has no
down time and is almost pain-free. It
will take 4 to 6 months to see any re-
sults from this treatment. That is why
we recommend combining this treat-
