Blood Pressure
Know Your Numbers:
What do my blood pressure results mean?
Blood pressure is a measure of the pressure your heart is under as it pumps blood all over the body. The higher
number in the blood pressure reading (Systolic blood pressure) measures how much pressure your heart is under
while it pumps blood. The lower number in the reading (Diastolic blood pressure) measures how much pressure
your heart is under at rest.
