Aneurysm
Include patients with a length of
stay one day or less.
With the increased use of endoluminal grafting
procedures for AAA repair, there is increasing
frequency of patients with a length of stay one day or
less.
Carotid Endarerectomy Included carotid stents and
angioplasties
Due to ICD9 codes specific to carotid stenting and
angioplasty and adequate volume, these patients can
now be included and risk adjusted for in the carotid
surgery study cohort.
