time-out property under the Registry menu item can now be changed
and saved correctly. The Stop button on the Terminal window will
now stop sending commands to the controller if you are in the
process of sending a file. You may now type control-key
combinations in the Command Input edit box on the Terminal window.
For example, typing control-R, control-V returns the firmware
revision. The 32-bit version now allows you to edit Galil program
files larger than 32K. This restriction still applies to the 16-bit
version. The Terminal no longer slows down as the Response edit
box fills with output.
2.20 September 16, 1996
The DTERM program had a bug in the editor where the last character
of a file could be lost when saved. This has been fixed. The
program was also enhamced to use less memory when running the
continous test. The DMCCOM.BAS and DMCCOM40.BAS files were changed
because some of the global constant names were too long.
2.19 August 5, 1996
A new function was added named DMCChangeInterruptNotification which
allows you to change the window handle or thread ID for interrupt
notification dynamically. Also, the Windows serial communications
buffers for DMCSER16.DLL and DMCSER32.DLL were increased to prevent
data overruns which could occur while uploading a large program.
2.18 July 22, 1996
The DLLs were enhanced to provide better protection against users
passing NULL pointers or buffer lengths. DMC16.DLL and DMC32.DLL
release subordinate DLLs (such as DMCBUS16/DMCBUS32) when the
DMCOpen function fails. A GPF could occur in DMCBUS16.DLL when
calling DMCOpen and the Windows 3.x device driver VXD.386 is not
installed. This has been corrected. More serial communications
tuning was done in this release. All 32-bit files were re-compiled
with MS Visual C++ 4.2. The Windows terminal program now displays
the internal version information for all DLLs when you select the
Help | About menu item.
