controller.
2.60 December 1, 1997
Support was added for the DMC-1600, a new controller which runs on
the CompactPCI bus. Also, the Win32 DLLs are now completely
thread-safe at the API function level. Some changes were made to
the Windows 95 and NT device drivers to provide faster interrupt
service. Also, the device drivers now support the interrupt
queuing feature of the DMC-1600 and DMC-1700 controllers.
2.50 September 10, 1997
The Windows 95 and NT device drivers were updated to provide faster
and more reliable support for the FIFO option of Data Record
Access. The DLLs and device drivers were also updated to support a
new data record map (firmware revision 1.1). The Windows terminal
programs (DTERM16/DTERM32) can now display the entire data record
at a glance. Also, a new option was added to these programs to
allow the user to clear the FIFO on the controller.
2.46 August 13, 1997
On some PCs running Windows 95, interrupts, even though generated,
would not be reported to the user's application program. This
problem has been corrected.
2.45 July 24, 1997
Some problems have been fixed with downloading firmware to the
DMC-1700. The Galil Windows 95 driver has been updated to correct a
problem with the FIFO option of Data Record Access (DMC-1700 only).
A new API function, DMCWaitForMotionComplete, has been added to the
DLLs. For more information, consult the file DMCWIN.WRI.
2.44 June 5, 1997
Data Record Access (DMC-1700 only) via the FIFO option was not
working correctly. This has been fixed. Added features to deal
with non-plug-and-play DMC-1700s - this affects both the DLLs and
the device drivers. If the controller was a plug-and-play
