DMCPoll was updated for the new DR map changes. Also, the ability to use MM
aka system timers was added.
DMCSetup and DMCStatx now set echo-off when ever retrieving data.

DMCTerminal has a new event, DMCResponse which is the same as the response
shown
on the terminal. The built-in editor window can now be re-sized. DMCTerminal
also gives better diagnostics when a file download fails.
The DMCRegister register property DMCTimeout now defaults to 5000. The
DMCDelay
property now defaults to 0.
DMCCompress now puts labels at the start of a line only.
DMCMove would sometimes show erratic line segments. This has been
corrected. Also,
DMCMove has better support for PA and PR line segments.
2.40 December 1, 1997
New DMCWIN. Changes to support DMC-1600. Message boxes in any control
now use the
current focus window as the parent. VT and CW were added to DMCSetup.
DMCDiagsNonAxis now shows analog input 8 for the DMC-1600 and DMC-
1700.

Fixed bugs with DMCIO, DMCRegister, DMCArray, and DMCPlayback. There
is a new event
for DMCSend which informs the user when the send file has completed.
DMCPoll was
updated for the new data record map (firmware 1.1). DMCSetup was enhanced to
supported the new ER command enhancement.

Fixed bugs with DMCPlayback, DMCMove, and DMCTerminal. DMCPlayback
would not
correctly create either LI or CD files because of missing commas. DMCMove
would not correctly display motion if it was not X v. Y. DMCTerminal would
not look correctly in design mode if the DMCNoCommandWindow property was
set
to TRUE. Added to this release is new sample programs, faster I/O in
DMCPlayback,
