246cc, 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine designed to produce broad powerband
with emphasis on mid-range torque.
Low-mechanical-noise engine construction and vibration-reducing rubber engine mounts
keep comfortable ride.
Precision electronic ignition system (CDI) and automatic cam chain tensioner help reduce
labor for maintenance.
Functional powertrain combines a centrifugal automatic clutch mated with a smooth-shifting,
wide-ratio 5-speed transmission with super-low first gear/convenient reveres gear and 2 x 4
shaft-drive system.
Rugged steel-tube chassis comes with steel underneath the crankcases, steel-tube bumper
and grill guard.
Both independent double-wishbone front suspensions with coil-over dual shock absorbers
and single shock absorber swingarm rear suspension deliver full 140mm (5.5in.) of wheel
travels.
Comfortable, well-padded contoured seat and low 785mm (30.9in.) seat height.
Smooth transitions between the bodywork, seat and fuel tank make it easier to move
back-and-forth or side-to-side when riding.
