leader of digital motion control technology, today announced their new DMC-13x8 Series
of VME Bus motion control cards. Designed for optimum flexibility, each card provides up
to four axes of motion control and can be used with step motors, servo motors and
hydraulics on any combination of axes.

Accepts up to 12 MHz encoder frequencies for servos and 3 MHz for steppers

Advanced PID compensation with Velocity and Acceleration feedforward, integration
limits, notch filter and low-pass filter. Sample times to 62.5 microseconds per axis

Multitasking for concurrent execution of up to eight application programs
n
Non-volatile memory for application programs, variables and arrays
n
Dual encoders, home input and forward and reverse limits accepted for every axis
n
Uncommitted analog and digital I/O; Includes 64 configurable I/O

Sinusoidal commutation for brushless servo motors
