Galil Motion Control Announces New Compact PCI Bus Controller - 2/2
Superior precision is achieved with a 16-bit motor command output DAC and a
sophisticated PID filter featuring Kp, Ki, Kd, velocity and acceleration feedforward and
integration limits. A 2M Flash EEPROM provides plenty of non-volatile memory for
storing application programs, parameters, arrays and firmware. Any revision or upgrade
to the firmware is easily handled in the field and without having to remove the controller
from the system.
These `plug and play' compact PCI bus controllers enable easy set-up and
accept either Binary or ASCII commands. Additional software is available to autotune,
view trajectories on a PC screen, translate AutoCAD files into motion and create
powerful, application-specific operator interfaces with Visual Basic. Drivers for DOS,
Windows 3.1, 95 and NT are available.

Pricing for the DMC-1600 Series of Compact PCI Bus motion controllers starts at
$995 for 1-axis, $1075 for 2-axis, $1185 for 3-axis, and $1245 for 4-axis (prices per 100
