1,462cc, air-cooled with Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACS), SOHC, V-Twin
engine featuring 3-valve pentroof combustion chambers produces massive low-rpm
power with peak torque at just 2,300rpm.
High-precision digital ignition system incorporates automatic decompression system
for easy starting.
Hydraulic valve lash adjuster, reliable shaft drive and maintenance-free battery for
low maintenance.
Wide-ratio 5-speed transmission with cruiser-special overdrive top gear.
Hydraulically operated wet clutch with a shift-smoothing back-torque limiter.
Adjustable clutch lever.
Double-cradle frame, using large-diameter, thin-wall main tubes for rigidity.
Fuel injection with carburetor ensures optimal fuel delivery, great throttle response
and maximum power through out the rpm range.
41mm (1.6 in.) front forks, and rear suspension with gas-charged single shock
absorber and progressive linkage make for sure-footed cruising.
Machined cast-aluminum wheels reduce weight and heighten visual appeal.
Hydraulic dual front disc brakes with pin-slide 2-piston calipers and single rear disk
brake with opposed 4-piston caliper for reliable stopping power.
Well-padded low-slung seat, thick handgrips and broad floorboards together
compose ready-to-cruise riding position. Passenger seat can be removed to fully
expose the rear fender.
14.0-liter fuel tank, located underneath the seat, which lowers the center of gravity
and thus contributes to good handling.
Convenient 3-liter storage compartment behind the left side cover for small items.
Front fork cover, mufflers and air cleaner box make beautiful appearance and solid
