Inspection, Adjustment & Lubrication
To convert a trailer to a jogger
1. Unsnap the locking clips (Figure 4.39) from the locking
pins of the trailer tongue attachment brackets (Figure 4.32).
2. Remove the locking pins.
3. Remove the trailer tongue (Figure 4.38) from the left wheel
arm attachment bracket.
4. Slide the left and right wheel arms into the wheel arm
attachment brackets.
Make sure the end of each wheel arm is all the way through the bracket
as indicated by the Warning sticker on the left bracket arm. Also check
that the holes in the bracket and the arm are aligned.
5. Insert each locking pin through the wheel arm attachment
bracket and wheel arms.
6. Snap both the locking clips into the locked position (Figure
4.33).
7. Insert the front wheel, adjust the quick-release mechanism,
and close the lever as shown in the wheel quick-release
section (pages 3-5).
8. Install the leash, or remove the wrist leash from the mesh
pocket.
9. Install the handlebar as shown on pages 25-26.
To convert a jogger to a trailer
1. Place the wrist leash in the mesh pocket.
2. Remove front wheel.
3. Unlock each locking clip and remove each locking pin from
the wheel arm attachment brackets and wheel arms.
4. Slide out the left and right wheel arms from the wheel arm
attachment brackets.
5. Install the right locking pin and close the locking clip.
6. Install the trailer tongue (Figure 4.38) into the left wheel
arm attachment bracket.
Make sure the end of the trailer tongue is all the way through the bracket
as indicated by the Warning sticker on the tongue. Also check that the
holes in the bracket and the tongue are aligned.
7. Install the left locking pin and close the locking clip.
8. Attach the bicycle trailer hitch to the bike as shown on
pages 19-22.
