Reflectors
REFLECTORS
Introduction
The reflectors on a child carrier illuminate when a light is
shone on them, directing some of the light back to the source.
In poor lighting conditions, if an oncoming vehicle has their
lights on, the reflectors may help the other vehicle see the child
carrier. Reflectors are an important part of a child carrier's
safety equipment. Do not remove the reflectors from the child
carrier.
Inspection
Every three months
, make sure all the nuts and bolts
holding the reflectors are tight. Check that the reflectors are
oriented so their reflective surfaces are perpendicular to the
ground, and that all reflective surfaces are clean and in good
condition.
