Storage
Some child carrier models have on-board storage
for the many accessories required for child mainte-
nance. Look for the mesh back bag (Figure 4.25) or
the mesh lower bag (Figure 4.26) under the seat.
The maximum capacity of the rear mesh storage
pocket or under-seat storage pocket is 4 pounds
(2 Kg). Do not overload a storage pocket. Do not
attach additional carrying bags or other items to
the back or handlebar of the child carrier. Any
additional weight on the back of the child carrier
could make it unstable.
Adjustable back angle
Some child carrier models provide a method for
changing the angle of the seat back to allow the
child to sit more upright, or to recline.
To adjust the seat back angle, loosen or tighten
the buckle on both sides of the child carrier
(Figures 4.27-4.28).
