This maintenance schedule is based on normal usage. If you
use the child carrier more than average, or in rain or snow,
service the child carrier more often than the schedule suggests.
If any part appears to be malfunctioning, inspect and service it
immediately, or consult your Trek dealer.
Recommended tools for proper maintenance:
Torque wrench with lb·in or Nm gradations
7/16", 1/2" sockets
7/16", 1/2" open-end wrenches
No. 1 phillips head screwdriver
Bicycle tube patch kit
Bicycle tire pump with gauge
Tire levers
Wrench Force® frame polish or similar frame protectant
Note: Not all Trek child carriers require all these tools
