Constructs Freedom Tower in Miniland New York
CARLSBAD, Calif. Standing taller than any other building in Miniland USA, the
Freedom Tower will reign over a renovated New York City at LEGOLAND

California in 2005. New York City is just one of six geographical locations
constructed entirely of LEGO
®
bricks at the 128-acre family theme park. More
than 20-million LEGO bricks create this attraction considered the heart of the
Park. All buildings inside the Big Apple will be completely blasted by
environmentally-friendly powdered walnut shells, checked for repairs by
LEGOLAND California's Master Model Builders, recoated with a UV lacquer then
placed back in Miniland. New landscaping, new mini-figure scenes and some old
favorites will be incorporated into the renovation revealed on March 12, 2005. For
