Lego - Do It Yourself Fun at LEGOLAND Deutschland 1
Opportunities to try out things and find out how they work are offered by the LEGO
MINDSTORMS Centre, where inventors can build and program their own LEGO robots,
while budding architects and young racing drivers enjoy themselves at the LEGO
Building and Testing Centre or the Audi LEGOLAND Motor School.
At the Kids' Power Tower, visitors big and small pull themselves up to lofty heights by
their own muscle power while the adjacent Pedal-o-mobile track offers a view of the
Park from above. You control your own speed on this elevated track so keep kicking!
Explorers will find the Safari Tour a challenge to their taste, encountering wild LEGO
animals as they travel through the African Steppe in their own jeep. Only adventurers
bursting with courage will take the headlong ride down the 12-meter waterfall of the
Jungle X-pedition, while roller-coaster fans will enjoy a wild ride through the medieval
LEGO world on the back of a fire-breathing dragon.
The LEGO Factory is a must. LEGO bricks are produced here while visitors watch. To
top it all, you will have an opportunity to peek over the shoulders of our model
builders. Needless to say, each visitor is given a LEGO brick fresh from the injection-
moulding machine to take home as a souvenir.
But that is not all: Numerous further attractions promise an exciting day at LEGOLAND
Deutschland, and there are many entertaining events to top off your experience of the
Park in 2003.
A note for the editor:
On May 17, 2002, LEGOLAND Deutschland opened its gates in Günzburg, Bavaria. The fourth Theme Park
of the LEGO Company worldwide was visited by more than 1.3 million guests in its first season. On April
12, 2003, the Park will enter its second season with a number of new attractions.
