Lego Partners of LEGOLAND Deutschland Page 4
LEW
Nothing would move in all of LEGOLAND Deutschland if it were not for Lechwerke, a
member of the RWE Group which supplies electric power to the entire Park as well as
its periphery. To demonstrate graphically how power is generated, LEW displays a
solar-powered windmill and a Ferris wheel in MINILAND. In addition, the LEGO
Mindstorms Center offers workshops where students can have fun exploring the fields
of power engineering and power generation.
Cooperation between LEW and LEGOLAND Deutschland extends to a project mounted
jointly by LEW and the school desk of the Augsburger Allgemeine Zeitung ('Zisch'). To
familiarize themselves with the workings of a daily paper, boys and girls are given an
opportunity to look behind the scenes of LEGOLAND Deutschland and describe their
impressions in articles which are then published by the Augsburger Zeitung.
Molkerei Alois Müller GmbH & Co.
'It's all Müller or what?' The slogan of the Müller dairy cooperation applies equally to
the range of popular and refreshing thirst quenchers offered to visitors of the Park.
You will find a 1:20 scale replica of their dairy operation in the Swabian village in
MINILAND, at the heart of the Park, where visitors can observe how milk reaches the
supermarket refrigerator shelves via a farm and a dairy.
Another joint activity is the integration of LEGOLAND Deutschland on 50 million Müller
drink packages.
Sparkasse
Sparkasse Günzburg-Krumbach is the exclusive partner of LEGOLAND Deutschland for
banking and financial services which include, among others, the handling of cash
within the Park and the provision and maintenance of the ATMs and credit card
terminals installed in the LEGOLAND Park.
'We believe that our partnership with the world-renowned LEGO brand offers an
excellent opportunity to further improve our position among families with children,'
says Walter Pache, Director of Sparkasse Günzburg-Krumbach.
The impact of this cooperative venture is not limited to our regional partner Sparkasse
Günzburg-Krumbach but extends to the entire Sparkasse Group nationwide.
Joint projects include the issue of exclusive visitor packages to Sparkasse customers,
such as school or youth groups.
