motto "Your beach is everywhere", Langnese will welcome LEGOLAND visitors in
August with play, fun and that summer feeling.
LEW
Without the Lechwerke power company, LEGOLAND Deutschland would come to a
standstill. The company, which belongs to the RWE group, supplies the whole park
and large areas of the surrounding region with power. Working models, such as a
solar-powered windmill and a big wheel at MINILAND, give visitors to the park the
chance to marvel at how energy is produced. At the LEGO MINDSTORMSTM centre,
schoolchildren in workshops explore through play the themes of "Energy" and
"Energy production". The strategic partnership between LEGOLAND Deutschland
and LEW also includes the easy living customer card system.
PepsiCo Deutschland
On time for the start of the family park's new season, PepsiCo Deutschland and
LEGOLAND have concluded a several-year cooperation agreement. The
partnership covers, above all, numerous marketing campaigns in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland and various sales agreements.
PepsiCo is thus catering for thirst in Germany's LEGOLAND and is the exclusive
supplier of soft drinks for all the gastronomic outlets at the park. This success not
only guarantees PepsiCo Deutschland additional sales outlets in the German soft
drinks market, it also enables the company, together with its new partner, to target
and appeal to active young families. For Hermann Gottwald, General Manager of
PepsiCo Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland, and for the German team, the
cooperation agreement is an important guarantee of success for the new strategy:
"When it comes to promoting the interests of the young and youngest generations,
Pepsi and LEGOLAND Deutschland are ideal partners. Both companies
unreservedly advocate creativity, imagination, experience, quality and fun."
PepsiCo Deutschland is a subsidiary of the US PepsiCo Group, one of the largest
food producers in the world, with brands like Pepsi, 7UP, Gatorade and Lays.
