Intel
Intel has assisted the LEGOLAND park in Günzburg with technology and expertise
since its opening in May 2002. For many visitors, the LEGOLAND academy is one
of the "must-see" attractions. Here, in a unique way, traditional LEGO construction
sets are integrated with PC technology. In this manner LEGO robots, for example,
can be built and controlled by PC. In the future, building with high-technology
resources will be even more fun, as Intel is equipping the academy with 69 brand
new high-end PCs, based on Intel
®
Pentium
®
4 530 processors. In addition, Intel 5
Notebooks based on Intel
®
CentrinoTM mobile technology are also available. With
these wirelessly networked laptops, park visitors can send "open-air" photos or
video messages direct from the LEGOLAND park to friends and relatives back
home.
"It is fascinating to see how seamlessly our products fit into the LEGOLAND
concept," says Hannes Schwaderer, CEO of Intel GmbH. "In this way we can use
play activities to impart the basic principles of modern information technology."
Intel is also offering an attraction of a special kind with its model of a digital living
room. From the Media Center PC to the surround set, all important technologies
for the digital home are bundled here.
Langnese
As an exclusive partner, Langnese delivers those things that are not only
appreciated by children: ice cream in all shapes and flavours. Throughout the park,
visitors can spoil themselves and sweeten their stay with the popular Impulse ice
cream products, with fresh portions on wafers or the Cornetto Soft product. Joint
national marketing campaigns and events in the park round off the cooperation. In
the 2005 season, Langnese brings a real beach feeling to Günzburg. Under the
