"What matters is that people
are moved, feel something.
Because that in itself is an
amazing achievement, when
you think about it; that in a
world as saturated with
images (of all kind) as ours
is...to be able to stimulate
people to the point where
they are moved by something
that you have painted...
that's a great compliment."

The spirit of freedom and patriotism are beautifully captured in this collection made
possible through the brush of one of America's best-loved artists, Norman Rockwell. For
over 75 years, his dedication towards creating imaginative covers for the Saturday
Evening Post has captured the hearts of millions of Americans. Now, jigsaw enthusiasts
have the opportunity to re-create his most endearing images through the "canvas" of
this Series.
Norman Rockwell - Four Freedoms
On January 6, 1941, as President Franklin D. Roosevelt closed his State of the Union Address to
Congress, he described his vision for a better way of life through what he considered the four essential
human freedoms: Freedom to Worship, Freedom from Fear, Freedom from Want and Freedom of Speech.
Almost two years later, with the United States in the throes of World War II, Norman Rockwell painted a
series of paintings called the Four Freedoms in an effort to reinforce their importance, while at the same
time, simplifying their complexity. After four months, when he was finished, the United States
government used them quite successfully to enhance family values, unity, and patriotism at a time
when it was most needed. These paintings gained immediate notoriety.
Norman Rockwell - Baseball Collection
Norman Rockwell and baseball two American classics represent the perfect combination of artist and
subject in this panoramic image featuring four of his The Saturday Evening Post covers. In one single
format, this puzzle pays homage to his 100th Year of Baseball, The Rookie, The Dugout and Bottom of the
Sixth. Painted over an 18 year span, each work reflects Rockwell's uncanny ability to depict an insightful
perspective of the game that has won the hearts of the nation for well over 150 years.
