2005 CONTINGENCY RULES & REGULATIONS
1. The Suzuki 2005 RM & OFF-ROAD Contingency is available to competitors racing
Canadian models of 2003, 2004 & 2005 model year Suzuki RM, RM-Z, DR-Z, DR &
JR motorcycles purchased in Canada.
2. In all classes where Suzuki pays to 5
th
position there must be a minimum of 12
finishers to constitute a class. In classes were there are a minimum of 8 but less than
12 finishers Suzuki will pay to the 3
rd
position only. Payout is based on the overall
result.
3. Eligible riders must be registered with Suzuki Canada Inc. by completing and
submitting the "2005 RM & OFF-ROAD CONTINGENCY RIDER REGISTRATION
FORM" available from your authorized Suzuki dealer or our web site at:
www.suzuki.ca
. Suzuki Canada Inc. must receive registrations by May 31, 2005
or prior to any races you are entering to be eligible for contingency from the
date they are received. There will be no "retro-active" payments on forms
received after May 31, 2005. It is your responsibility to ensure that Suzuki Canada
Inc. has received your registration form. Registered mail is the best form of ensured
delivery.
4. The Suzuki logo must be prominently displayed on both sides of the motorcycle.
5. All contingency awards will be paid by cheque. The cheques will be issued once the
official results have been verified with the sanctioning bodies. Please allow at least 8
weeks for verification of results and issuing of payments.
6. Contingency Award recipients grant Suzuki Canada Inc. the right to use their names,
results and photos as deemed necessary in any advertising and promotion, without
compensation or prior approval.
7. Suzuki Canada Inc. will only pay contingency in the specified classes as listed in the
2005 contingency program and the schedule of qualifying, sanctioned events within
the specified time period (November 1
st
, 2004 to October 31
st
, 2005).
8. Suzuki Canada Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this contingency program
without notice or obligation.
