SUZUKI LAUNCHES NEW KINGQUAD

, 2004: The World Launch of Suzuki's
LT-A700X KingQuad is a triumphant success as participants unanimously
agreed that the King is back. The Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System in the
Mattawa region east of North Bay proved to be the ultimate testing
ground for the new KingQuad. Journalists from across North America
were extremely impressed with the agility, performance, and handling of
the LT-A700X.
Approximately 25 Canadian and American
journalists arrived in North Bay, Ontario (four
hours north of Toronto) on August 24
th
,
eagerly awaiting their chance to test the
highly anticipated KingQuad. Canadian press
represented at the launch included ATV Rider
Magazine, ATV Magazine, ATV World, Inside
Motorcycles, PowerSports News, and Sentier
Quad.
A cut-away display model of the new KingQuad greeted guests upon their arrival at
the hotel in North Bay. Mr. Masafumi (Mark) Harano, President of Suzuki Canada Inc.
welcomed everyone and guaranteed that the journalists would be amazed at the
capabilities of the new KingQuad. During the course of the night, the media was
introduced to representatives from Suzuki Motor
Corporation (SMC); American Suzuki Motor
Corporation (ASMC), Suzuki Manufacturing of
America Corporation (SMAC), and Suzuki Canada
Inc. (SCI). Attendees included Mr. Motoo
Murakami, Executive Vice President of ASMC and
President of SMAC, Mr. Masaaki Kato, President of
ASMC Motorcycle, ATV, Marine division and Mr.
Jun Ito, Marketing Director for Suzuki Motor Corp.
The following morning, journalists were
transported to Mattawa, Ontario (approximately 40 minutes East of North Bay).
Mattawa, a scenic town nestled between the forks of the Mattawa and Ottawa River,
is the home of the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail Systems (VMUTS). One of the best trail
systems in Canada, it features over 150 km of trails and is home to various wildlife
including bears, moose, deer, and wolves.
