WARRANTY COVERAGE
SUZUKI warrants to the owner of the Vehicle that the Vehicle was designed, built, and equipped to conform
at the time of manufacture to applicable regulations provided for under the Motor Vehicle Emissions Reduc-
tion Regulation and the associated Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Warranty Regulation pursuant to the
Waste Management Act administered by the Government of British Columbia. During the warranty period,
SUZUKI warrants that the Vehicle is free from defects in materials and workmanship which would cause it
not to conform to the above Provincial regulations. For the components listed under PARTS COVERED, any
SUZUKI Dealer will, at no cost to you, make the necessary diagnosis, repair, or replacement necessary to
ensure that the Vehicle complies with applicable regulations.
EMISSION PERFORMANCE WARRANTY FOR THE PROVINCE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA ONLY
WARRANTY PERIODS
This warranty begins on the date the Vehicle is delivered to the first retail purchaser or first put into use as
a demonstrator or company car, whichever occurs first, and continues for 2 years or 40,000 kilometers,
whichever occurs first. Failure of an approved emissions test resulting from a defect in the electronic engine
control module (ECM)/onboard emissions diagnostic device and catalytic converter(s) is covered for 8 years
or 130,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
SUZUKI warrants to the owner of the Vehicle that if:
1) your Vehicle has been maintained and operated according to the instructions for proper maintenance and
use in the Owner's Manual and this New Vehicle Warranty and Maintenance Information Booklet; and,
2) the Vehicle fails a B.C. Air Care approved inspection/maintenance test (I/M test) in effect in B.C. during the
warranty period and,
3) the failure to conform results or will result in your having to bear a penalty or other sanction (including the
denial of the right to use the Vehicle) under local or provincial law then any authorized SUZUKI Dealer in
the Province of British Columbia will, at no cost to you, make the diagnosis and adjustment necessary to
ensure that the Vehicle complies with applicable B.C. Provincial emission standards.
