NEW VEHICLE EMISSION WARRANTY
FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA
In the province of British Columbia the following New Vehicle Emission Warranties apply to any Vehicle
purchased through a SUZUKI dealer in that province.
EMISSION COMPONENT DEFECT WARRANTY FOR THE PROVINCE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA ONLY
WARRANTY PERIOD
This warranty begins on the date the Vehicle is delivered to the first retail purchaser or is first put into use as a
demonstrator or company car, whichever occurs first, and continues for 3 years or 80,000 kilometers, whichever
occurs first. The electronic engine control module (ECM)/onboard emissions diagnostic device and catalytic converter(s)
are covered for 8 years or 130,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.
MAINTENANCE REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS MAY BE PERFORMED BY ANY
REPAIR ESTABLISHMENT OR INDIVIDUAL USING ANY PART; HOWEVER, WARRANTY REPAIRS MUST BE PERFORMED BY A
SUZUKI DEALER (EXCEPT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION). THE USE OF PARTS THAT ARE OTHER THAN PARTS APPROVED BY
SUZUKI MAY IMPAIR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM AND MAY INVALIDATE A WARRANTY CLAIM.
If other than Suzuki Parts are used for maintenance replacements or for the repair of components affecting emission control,
you should assure yourself that such parts are warranted by their manufacturer to be equivalent to Suzuki Parts in perfor-
mance and durability.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
To make a claim under the emission warranty, your vehicle must be presented to a SUZUKI dealer with a detailed description
of the difficulties which your vehicle has experienced. Your dealer will diagnose and make repairs as required subject to the
provisions of your NEW VEHICLE EMISSION WARRANTY.
