(1) Vertically Stacked Headlights
The new GSX-R1000 is equipped with vertically-stacked-headlights as a result of a simple persuit
of performance.
The vertically-stacked-headlights characterize the new GSX-R1000 front face, which make a
strong impact befitting a leading Suzuki sports model.
Thanks to the vertically-stacked-headlights, the intake air ducts for the SRAD ram-air system can
be located closer to the center of the fairing nose, which is the point of highest air pressure.
The distance from each intake duct to the centerline of the fairing nose is shortened from 110mm
on the 2002 GSX-R1000 to 90mm on the new GSX-R1000.
