(6) Starter Motor
The new GSX-R1000's starter motor uses rare earth magnets.
The use of rare earth magnets makes the starter motor more powerful and more compact.
Generally speaking, with starter motors of same power, use of rare earth magnets allows the
starter motor to be about 500 grams lighter.
