(4) Engine Rpm Indicator
An engine rpm indicator is equipped on the new GSX-R1000's instrument cluster.
This feature allows the rider to use an adjustment switch to input the rpm at which he wishes to
up-shift, to suit riding styles and riding situations. The rider can adjust the up-shift timing from
5000 rpm to 12000 rpm in 500 rpm increments.
When the tachometer reaches the rpm that the rider selected, the engine rpm indicator is turned
on.
