(6) Crankshaft
The crank journal diameter is 35 mm, width is 24 mm.
The crank pin diameter is 35 mm, width is 20 mm.
The GSX-R1000's crankshaft features a bolt-on counter-weight on the outboard side of cylinder
number 4. The design allows room for a machine-tool to cut a smaller-diameter, lighter primary
drive gear into the adjacent flyweel, before the bolt-on counterweight is installed.
