The combination of the SET system, SDTV fuel injection system, upgraded ECM, and PAIR
system reduces emissions. In addition, the new GSX-R1000 has a catalyzer for the European
Market.
The new GSX-R1000's carbon-monoxide emissions, hydrocarbon emissions and nitrogen oxide
emissions are all well below the requirements of Europe's EURO2 regulations.
