(4) SET (Suzuki Exhaust Tuning Valve) System
The new GSX-R1000 is equipped with the SET (Suzuki Exhaust Tuning) system.
The SET system is a system in which a butterfly valve is installed in the joint pipe and is actuated
by a servo motor.
The amount of valve opening is determined by engine rpm, throttle position and gear position.
Valve operating angle is approx. 70 degrees.
