Although the ECM's capacity is increased, the new GSX-R1000's ECM is smaller than the one on
the 2002 GSX-R1000.
The ECM box's length has been shortened from 101mm on the 2002 GSX-R1000 to 96mm on the
new GSX-R1000, which reduced the ECM box's weight by 15 grams.
