(2) Lightweight and Multi-hole Type Injector
The injectors on the new GSX-R1000 are designed smaller and 28 grams lighter in total,
compared to those on the 2002 GSX-R1000.
Furthermore, the spray hole design has been changed. The injectors on the new GSX-R1000 is
the multi-hole type, having 4 holes each, instead of the pintle type injectors on the 2002 GSX-
R1000.
