OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain warranty service, take your Suzuki Outboard Motor to your nearest Authorized Suzuki
Marine Dealer. Bring your copy of the Sales Registration Form or other documentation indicat-
ing the date of purchase, such as your sales receipt. The Authorized Suzuki Marine Dealer will
perform the necessary repairs or adjustments within a reasonable amount of time and furnish
you with a copy of the repair order. (All parts replaced under this warranty become the property
of Suzuki.)
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

Maintenance, replacement or repair of emission control devices and systems may be per-
formed by any marine spark ignition (SI) engine repair establishment or individual using any
part which has been certified under the provisions of the U.S. Clean Air Act Sec 207 (a) (2).
However, warranty repairs must be performed by an Authorized Suzuki Marine Dealer. The
use of parts that are not equivalent in performance and durability to Genuine Suzuki Parts
may impair the effectiveness of the emission control system, and have a bearing on the
payment of a warranty claim.
If other than genuine Suzuki parts are used for maintenance replacements or for the repair of
components affecting emission control, you should assure yourself that such parts are war-
ranted by their manufacturer to be equivalent to genuine Suzuki parts in their performance and
durability.
