description of its observational characteristics is given.
Observations of IC2574 were made with VLA B, C, and D arrays in January,
April, and March 1992. The total times on source were 11, 2.2, and 1.7 hours,
respectively. The channel separation was 2.5 km s
,1
with a total of 128 channels.
The central heliocentric velocity was 38 km s
,1
. The data were calibrated using
standard VLA calibration techniques. The calibration sources were observed twice
to avoid the emission of local Galactic hydrogen. Continuum sources were removed
by subtracting the average of the line free channels from all channels.
Observations of Sextans A were made with the VLA using the C and D con-
gurations in May and July 1992. The total time on source was 4 hours. The
channel separation was 2.5 km s
,1
with a total of 128 channels. The data were cal-
ibrated using standard VLA calibration techniques. The beam for the uniformly
weighted map density map was 16
00
14
00
. The continuum sources were removed
by subtracting an average of the line free channels from all channels.
