16 "aluminum-alloy wheels.
Few things are as important to the look
of a vehicle as its wheels. The standard
16 "aluminum-alloy wheels on the XL-7
are a very nice addition.
Let there be light.
Fog lamps come standard on the XL-7
EX, which greatly improves visibility in
inclement weather conditions.
Let the sunshine in.
It's nice to have the sun shining down on
you. It's even nicer when you can make
it happen simply with the power tilt-and-
slide sunroof, standard on EX.
Under the hood? A standard V6.
Part of what the XL-7 has over the
competition is what's under the hood: a
185-hp, 2.7-liter, 24-valve, DOHC V6
engine with a towing capability of up to
3,000 lb.
4WD at the push of a button.
Switching to 4-wheel drive couldn't be
easier on 4WD models, thanks to a
DriveSelect Push-button 4WD System
located on the center console.
5-speed automatic transmission.
The electronically controlled automatic
transmission has five speeds, as well as
a Power-mode selector switch. (Standard
on EX, optional on LX)
Tire-pressure monitoring system.
Improperly inflated tires not only have
a shorter life expectancy, they can also
affect your overall safety. The XL-7's
tire-pressure monitoring system alerts
the driver when tire pressure becomes
critically low. Please see Specification
Page for more information.
Put on the brakes.
The XL-7 features an antilock brake
system with Electronic Brake-force
Distribution (EBD). It improves braking in
slippery conditions while enhancing your
ability to avoid an obstacle or sudden
hazard. (Optional on XL-7 LX 2WD)
"Kids will be kids."
Since they all will, Suzuki vehicles have
rear-door child-safety locks. You already
have a lot of things on your mind; this
doesn't need to be one of them.
Suzuki's New Vehicle Limited Warranty:
Covers all components of the vehicles as supplied by Suzuki for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The battery is covered for 24,000 miles. There is no
deductible. Any repairs to correct defects in materials will be made with no charge for parts or labor. Should original body sheet-metal panels develop perforation due to corrosion, they're covered for 36 months,
with no limit on mileage. Tires are covered by a separate warranty from the tire manufacturer.
Roadside Assistance Program:
Covers any new Suzuki vehicle during the 36,000-mile/3-year New Vehicle Limited
Warranty period. Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in the U.S. and Canada.
Courtesy Vehicle Program:
The Warranty Repair Courtesy Vehicle Program is administered through
Suzuki dealers and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. If a Suzuki vehicle is rendered inoperable, unsafe or illegal to operate due to a defect in materials or workmanship, and is required to stay overnight at a Suzuki dealer
to complete a warranty repair during the 36,000-mile/3-year New Vehicle Limited Warranty period, your Suzuki dealer will provide a courtesy rental vehicle for up to five days through Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
See your local dealer for full details.
Comfortable all over.
When you specify third-row seating, XL-7
will come with rear air conditioning as
well. And that's good news for all your
back-seat passengers.
Keep your hands on the wheel.
It's important to keep your focus on the
drive at hand at all times, which is why
the XL-7 has a standard tilt steering wheel
with integrated audio controls.
Here's music to your ears.
The XL-7 comes with a CD player with
7 speakers, including subwoofer. The
EX model features a 6-disc in-dash CD
changer.
Fresh air, anyone?
The XL-7 not only features standard
automatic climate control, there's even a
micron air-filtration system that cuts down
on airborne pollen and dust.
Suzuki's 100,000-mile/7-year Powertrain Limited Warranty:
Every 2005 Suzuki comes standard with
America's #1 Warranty
,
a fully transferable,
$0-deductible, 100,000-mile/7-year powertrain limited warranty.
Duration:
Covers 100,000 miles or 7 years, whichever comes first. This provides
owners over 14,000 miles of coverage per year. Most competitive warranties cover only 10,00012,000 miles per year.
Fully Transferable:
Can be
transferred from owner to owner, adding value at the time of resale or trade-in.
No Deductible:
If any repairs to covered components are necessary
within 100,000 miles or 7 years, there is zero charge for parts and labor.
See your local dealer for full details.
