Immigrants

I understand that the purposes of the project are (1) to familiarize students with obtaining oral
histories and with the immigration experience, and (2) to obtain, for the Library of Congress's
collections, oral histories from recent (latter part of the 20
th
century to the present) immigrants to
the United States.

I understand that the Library of Congress plans to retain the product of my participation and to
use the materials for scholarly and educational purposes such as exhibition, publication, and
presentation on the World Wide Web and successor technologies, and for promotion of the
Library of Congress and its activities in any medium.

I hereby dedicate to the public any intellectual property that I may own in the interview and related
materials delivered to the Library of Congress and I grant to the Library of Congress the right to
use these materials as stated above.

I release the Library of Congress, and its assignees and designees, from any and all claims and
demands arising out of or in connection with the use of this interview and related materials,
including but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or right of publicity.
