Suzuki - adventures 2004 summer
I
t's not too often that an entire family can
agree on something. But that's the case with
the Rodela family of Texas when it comes to
the quality and value of Suzuki vehicles. In
fact, this family has owned seven Suzuki
vehicles over the years. And second
generation Suzuki owner Jennifer Rodela,
who lives in San Antonio and is currently
working and going to school to complete her
bachelor's degree, recently drove more than
two hours to her favorite Suzuki dealership to
trade in her XL-7 for a brand-new Forenza.
"My mom and dad got their Suzukis first
and they decided to get my brother one as
well," explains Jennifer about how the entire
family ended up driving Suzukis--all from
Suzuki Auto Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
"Then I drove away in my XL-7 a week
later." Jennifer traded in a Mitsubishi Eclipse for her first
Suzuki, which proved to be a smart move. "I would use it to
drive to and from work and I went out of town a lot so it was
great to have the third row of seating and the extra space
because my other vehicle was so cramped to travel in. The
XL-7 also had a lot of cargo room and was higher up from
the ground. Plus, I got zero-percent financing!"
While Jennifer definitely enjoyed the time she spent
behind the wheel of her XL-7, the more she drove, the more
she realized that she needed a vehicle that got even better
gas mileage. So she contacted Tim Faith, dealer principal at
Suzuki Auto Center, to see what other Suzuki vehicles he had
that might better suit her lifestyle. "When I saw the Forenza, I
thought it was good on gas, it was a cute car and it drove
nicely," says Jennifer. "It also had all the features I wanted,
like a sunroof and stereo system controls on the steering
wheel--those are really neat! It just seems like every time I
see new Suzukis they're coming out with newer features that
make customers really happy." By making the switch to a
Suzuki Forenza, Jennifer was also able to lower her monthly
payment, among other perks. "Now that I'm in a car again, I
can easily maneuver my vehicle and park wherever I want,"
she adds. "This is just such a cute car!"
Jennifer is just as enthusiastic about the customer service
she received from her Suzuki dealership. "I drove into town
on a Friday, spoke to Tim on Saturday, Easter was on
Sunday, and I left with my new car on Monday," she says.
"Everything just went so smoothly." But that's something
Jennifer has come to expect from Suzuki Auto Center. "Tim
previously owned another automotive dealership and our
family had good rapport with him, so when he started
running the Suzuki dealership and telling us great things
about the cars, we decided to check them out," she says.
"Now we continue to go back because we trust Tim and
know he's honest. And I'm willing to drive all the way there
to buy my cars because I get the customer service I'm looking
for compared to other dealerships I've visited in the past."
