AMERICA'S
NUMBER
ONE
WARRANTY
We've Got
You Covered!
Suzuki has the best warranty in the country--simple as
that! Our 100,000-mile/7-year powertrain limited warranty
applies to all new Suzuki vehicles sold after August 1, 2002--
making it the best in the industry. What are the big
advantages? Where do we begin? First, your new Suzuki
vehicle is covered for 100,000 miles or seven years,
whichever comes first. That adds up to more than 14,000
miles per year. And, your Suzuki warranty has no deductibles
and is transferable from owner to owner, which really raises
resale and trade-in values. No other warranty in the industry
can equal all the advantages of the Suzuki warranty. "Kia and
Hyundai offer a 100,000-mile/10-year warranty but they're
not fully transferable," points out American Suzuki President
Rick Suzuki. "Since the average length of original ownership
is five years, those warranties are, in effect, good for five years
for the average owner, not seven years like Suzuki's. Chrysler
recently started a new 70,000-mile/7-year transferable
warranty, but since a typical customer drives around 15,000
miles per year, the Chrysler warranty may expire in less than
five years. It also has a $100 deductible. The Suzuki
100,000-mile/7-year warranty gives buyers peace of mind
with 84 months of coverage and it helps maintain the value of
the vehicle since the warranty can be transfered with the
vehicle and is not limited to the original owner."
The 100,000-mile/7-year warranty is part of Suzuki's
Open Road Promise, a three-tiered program designed to
strengthen your confidence and satisfaction with Suzuki
products from purchase and ownership to trade-in or resale.
The other components of the Open Road Promise are:
Suzuki's Roadside Assistance Program, which provides
24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year roadside assistance
during the 36,000-mile/3-year new vehicle limited
warranty period.
Suzuki's Courtesy Vehicle Program, which provides a
courtesy rental vehicle for up to five days when your
vehicle is rendered inoperable, unsafe, or illegal to
operate and requires overnight repair.

Consumers Digest Presents Two
Suzuki Vehicles with Their
Highest Honor
We're confident about the outstanding value of every Suzuki vehicle
in our 2003 lineup, and here's a great example why. Consumers Digest, a
leading industry publication, recently named the Suzuki Aerio SX and
sedan and Suzuki XL-7 as "Best Buys" for 2003.
To win this hard-earned industry distinction, both the Aerio and
XL-7 had to compete against more than 225 available car and truck
models to be among the 38 Consumers Digest "Best Buy" recipients this
year. The judging by Consumers Digest is extensive and covers many vehicle
characteristics, including design factors such as styling, interior
ergonomics, fit and finish, seating, cargo space, and accessories and
amenities. It also includes performance characteristics such as starting
and acceleration, shifting/transmission, steering and handling, braking,
ride quality, and fuel economy. Additional variables include warranties,
repair histories, dealer reputations, estimated repair and maintenance
costs, crash-test results, and estimated resale value. Each vehicle is tested
under a wide variety of driving conditions and placed into a certain
vehicle category. The Aerio was named a "Best Buy" in the small car
category, while the XL-7 was named a "Best Buy" in the compact/mid-
size SUV category.
Here's what Consumers Digest had to say about each Suzuki "Best Buy"
vehicle for 2003.
"The Aerio has a more potent base engine than the [Toyota]
Matrix...It's at least as much fun to drive with plenty of power and a price
that makes it easy to justify...The suspension manages to walk a pleasant
line between delivering aggressive handling and over-the-road
comfort...Suzuki's 7-year/100,000-mile drivetrain warranty adds value
to this already thrifty compact duo."
"When it comes to value, the XL-7 packs a punch. This is the largest
of the compact SUVs...yet it's the most affordable seven-passenger SUV
by far...A smooth revving V6 gets it up to speed easily...Unlike all the
others in this class, the XL-7 is a real truck...the vehicle has an honest
3,000-pound towing capacity. You can fit five adults and huge quantities
of cargo, or use the optional foldaway split third-row seats to carry one or
two kids. Still, the XL-7 is far from oversized and provides a surprisingly
cushy ride and adept handling, with a tight turning radius."
