Keynote: Dahr Jamail
Dahr Jamail spent over eight months among the people in Iraq before returning
to the US in February 2005. An unembedded, independent journalist, he braved
the streets of Iraq, to quickly gain a reputation for covering what corporate
media leave out. His stories were carried by "Democracy Now!," published in
"The Nation," and picked up by many other news sources. In this video report,
produced in Seattle on his return, Jamail details the situation on ground in Iraq.
