What you can do:
* Join an international letter- writing campaigns targeting Burmese and world leaders, urging them to allow
the Burmese people access to quality education.
* Organise demonstrations, discussions, topical meetings, seminars or conferences about the lack of educa-
tional opportunities in Burma. You may invite Burmese students in your area or representatives from the in-
ternational campaign secretariat to give a lecture, show slides or introduce a fresh video documentary from
Burma.
* Urge your school, university, local and regional authorities, organisations you're a member of and all your
friends to lend their support to the international campaign. Resolutions and letters of support for the cam-
paign's objectives will add weight to the campaign.
* Organise fundraising events in support of the campaign. Fundraising material will be available from the
campaign secretariat.
* Log on to the campaign online:
www.worldviewrights.org
and look for links to campaign news, tips and
ideas on how you can help. An online petition, drafts for campaign letters, contact lists for Burmese and world
leaders, downloadable photos and multimedia from Burma, and updated links to the best Burma sites on the
web are just some of the resources that will be posted on our web site. We will post contact details for other
campaigners in your area that you can team up with.
* Get in touch with the campaign secretariat for updated information, plans, ideas and advice. We are also
happy to hear about your ideas and input on the execution of the campaign.
