categories or divisions that qualify for the
program. The TD must choose one species and
one category in advance of the tournament
date for a total of no more than three total
winning places (1st--$1,000; 2nd-3rd--$250
each; for a total of $1,500).

End-of-year circuit "classics" which are
concluded on or before 11/30/03 will qualify
for the program regardless of number of
anglers, provided they are approved and
Suzuki Catch and Reward Headquarters has
the date recorded prior to the tournament.

The official sanction application, completed by
the dealer and tournament director, must be
submitted to Suzuki at least four weeks in
advance of the actual tournament. Applica-
tions may be submitted by fax. No tournament
may promote the Suzuki Catch and Reward
awards or in any way imply Suzuki Catch and
Reward sanction unless it has received an
official 2003 sanction certificate.

Tournaments sanctioned by Suzuki Catch and
Reward are expected to promote the Suzuki
Catch and Reward awards in all promotional
material, including brochures, flyers,
registration forms, event advertising and other
promotional items. Dealers will be required to
promote the tournament prior to the tourna-
ment, at the tournament and to follow up after
the tournament.

Suzuki has available various Suzuki Catch and
Reward advertising materials (logos,
brochures, promotional checks, banners, etc.)
for the dealer and will supply a copy of the
official 2003 tournament sanction certificate.
«
A tournament sanction certificate will be valid
only for the calendar year for which it is issued,
and each tournament will be assigned a
sanction number.
«
For the program's 2003 season, which runs from
March 1 through November 30, all participants
(excluding tournament directors) using all
models of Suzuki outboards are eligible. Motor
must be within 5 years of original purchase
date according to Suzuki retail registration
records.
«
Program is for retail-registered Suzuki
outboards only. Rental and demo outboards
are not eligible.
«
Suzuki anglers can win up to a maximum of
$2,000 in contingency awards during the 2003
program.
«
To be eligible for Suzuki Catch and Reward
awards, the angler must fish from a Suzuki
outboard-powered boat, his or a friend's. The
Suzuki must be the primary motor on the boat.
«
To qualify, an angler must fill out the
program's claim application, which includes:
tournament activity; participating Suzuki
dealer's name; make, model and serial number
of the outboard being used; and supporting
evidence of finishing position in the tourna-
ment. The angler is also requested to pre-
register. Registration is free, and automatically
enters the angler in the fishing trip sweepstakes
drawing.
All tournaments are eligible, both fresh and salt
water, that meet the following criteria:

Tournaments must be open to everyone.

Tournaments must originate and finish within
the U.S.
«
First-year tournaments do not qualify.
«
Tournament must have a minimum of 60
registered and competing anglers and/or 30
boats or teams. The minimums are based on
last year's entry number.
«
Weekly tournament circuits can have only one
tournament per month qualify for the
program. The Tournament Director (TD)
chooses which tournament dates qualify a
minimum of four weeks in advance of the
actual event.

Saltwater tournaments or tournaments with
more than one division or species will be
eligible for the Suzuki Catch and Reward
program, provided there are designated

Suzuki Catch and Reward payout eligibility
is based solely on the prize payout structure
of each individual tournament.
«
In tournaments where individual anglers are
registered, individual anglers who meet all
other Suzuki Catch and Reward require-
ments are eligible for the Suzuki award
money and can win up to a maximum of
$2,000 in contingency awards during the
2003 program.

In tournaments where boats are registered to
win, the Suzuki outboard owner is eligible
for the Suzuki Catch and Reward award
money and can win up to a maximum of
$2,000 in contingency awards during the
2003 program.

In either case (first two items above),
individual outboards are eligible to win up
to a maximum of $2,000 in contingency
awards during the 2003 program.

In a sanctioned tournament where awards
are based on total number or total weight of
fish, Suzuki Catch and Reward awards of
$250 will be awarded to any qualified Suzuki
angler who places in positions 2-3 in the final
overall standings, and $1,000 to any qualified
Suzuki angler who finishes in first place
overall in the competition.

In a sanctioned tournament where winning is
based on catching specially-tagged fish,
Suzuki payouts of $250 will be given to the
first two qualified Suzuki anglers to catch
tagged fish and register them. One award of
$1,000 will be given to any Suzuki angler
who catches the grand prize fish (the most
valuable tagged fish available in the contest).

In multi-species tournaments, the TD must
specify in advance one species and one
category for Suzuki Catch and Reward
payout eligibility. No more than a total of
three places can be designated (1st--$1,000;
2nd-3rd--$250 each; for a total of $1,500).

In any tournament, no more than three
Suzuki Catch and Reward awards totalling
$1,500 will be presented.

The TD is the final authority in determining
winners and verifying that fish were caught
in accordance with all tournament rules and
Suzuki Catch and Reward eligibility
requirements (i.e., Suzuki angler, fished from
a Suzuki-powered boat, etc.). Suzuki will pay
all awards based on TD's decisions.

After an angler has won the annual
maximum payout of $2,000 in contingency
awards, with each additional win his or her
name is entered into a contest where one
name will be drawn after 11/30/03 and
before 1/15/04 to win an all-expense-paid
fishing trip.
«
Anglers must mail claim forms (available
upon registration), complete with Suzuki
dealer's and tournament director's signature,
tournament standings and supporting
documentation to Suzuki Catch and Reward
Headquarters within 30 days of the tourna-
ment. Claims received more than 30 days
after completion of the tournament cannot be
honored.
«
Suzuki will issue the winner's check upon
receipt of complete claim form if received
within the required 30-day time limit.
«
Contact Suzuki if payment is not received
within 4-6 weeks.
«
Payment is subject to verification of
tournament eligibility, retail ownership,
overall winner, number of contestants and
validity of all information on claim form.
«
The Suzuki Catch and Reward Program
Headquarters decision is final in determin-
ing which tournaments are eligible and in
determining payment of $1,000 or $250 and
validity of any claims under this program.
