Shivering
High Heat: Forced air rewarming or immersion of distal arms and legs in warm water
(arteriovenous anastomoses rewarming).
Ex: Exercise
Moderate Heat: Heated humidified oxygen, heating pads, body to body contact.
Non-Shivering
Invasive Heat: Extracorporeal circulation.
High Heat: Forced air rewarming.
Moderate Head: Heated humidified oxygen, heating pads, warmed IV fluids.
