If you are interested in cold-related injuries and their
care, especially in a cold climate, Alaska is the place to
be in March 6-11, 2004. First we will begin with the
exciting start of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in
Anchorage. Then we move to Alyeska where several
world experts will cover 4 major themes:
1. Basic cold pathophysiology
2. Tactical medicine in the cold
3. Cold expeditions
4. Mountain and avalanche search and rescue
We will provide plenty of time for case studies, discussion
and networking. Finally, we offer many exciting half-day
optional workshops and two post-conference workshops.
See you in Alyeska and remember,
Keep Cool...But Don't Freeze!
