of longer degrees can be awarded honours as
part of their program. They may then progress
to Masters and PhD level study, depending on
the grade of honours received.
Can I study part of my program
overseas?
Our Faculty has close ties with some of the best
universities in Asia, North America and Europe.
These links encourage student exchange and

In 2002 we will offer a number of scholar-
ships to help cover the costs of airfares for
students wishing to take this opportunity. For

have completed an associate diploma or
diploma in applied science or certificate in
agriculture, horticulture or animal husbandry at
the University of Queensland should apply
directly to the Faculty for articulation if they
wish to enter a related program.
Can I undertake a dual degree?
A number of three and four year degrees listed

available externally which means you do not
need to attend university on a daily basis.
Students study independently from home, in
some cases using multimedia interactive

necessary, practical components are covered
during residential schools undertaken at the
University. External study options are outlined
on the program pages.
