AGRIBUSINESS AND
RESOURCE ECONOMICS
Agribusiness is the business of agriculture and the food chain,
from paddock to plate. If Australia is to continue to be a
successful primary producing nation, we need to be good at
business as well as producing crops. Resource Economics is an
applied branch of economics that applies economic principles
and techniques to the analysis of firm-level, regional, national
and global problems in either an agricultural or natural resources
context.
