C. Roof Section
18.
On the ground, identify all
Roof Panels and become familiar with their position. Outside Roof
Panels (4) all have batten and shingles overhanging end rafter by approx. 6" on 1 side. The Middle
Roof Panels (2) battens and shingles are flush with rafters.
With Roof panels flipped over, attach
Simpson Strong Tie Roof Connectors to the bottom end of
Rafters. There are 2 strong tie connectors on outside panels and 3 on middle panel. Panels are marked
for strong tie placement. Attach with 2 - 1 1/2" screws with long side of strong tie orientated on rafter.
