Attach Door Hinges to
Top and Bottom Dutch
Door sections. At this stage, door can swing open on
the left or right. Decide on your preference and attach
hinges to door. (2 hinges per door centered on door
trim.) Use 3/4" long black screws on hinge / door
attachment.

Place Bottom Dutch Door panel into
position, gap 3/8" on bottom and evenly
spaced on sides and attach hinge to
doorway seam trim with 1 1/2" black
screws. Use shim to help keep the door
evenly spaced on bottom. One of the extra
roof shingles (see parts list) can be used.

Attach the
Gable Peak
Facia and the
Center Facia
Detail Plate with
4 - 1 1/2"
finishing nails per
piece. Both
should be
centered where
facia meet.

Position
Doorway
Seam Trim
(2 - 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 79")
pieces flush with outside
of door jamb and flush
with bottom of bottom
skirting. Attach with
6 - 1 1/2" finishing nails.
