1873 Trapdoor Rifle Sights, 1973, First Model:
"Custer Period" rear rifle sights missing only the flat tension
spring, but otherwise complete with original ladders & slides,
decent condition. They look good on the rifle, as the missing
flat tension spring is not readily noticeable. These sights will
also fit all later Trapdoor rifles, cadets & carbines, 1873-1893
without any alteration, as the screw hole placement is the
same for all models, beginning to end. If your Trapdoor of any
model is missing the read sight, here is an outstanding
opportunity to get a decent looking one on it for a LOW
PRICE. Also, some 1877 sights as above and same price.
Very hard-to-find, from long storage, Frankford Arsenal and
later. W. Stokes Kirk. Only........................................$19.00 ea.
US Krag 1894 Rifle Rear Sights: Early Model .30-40
KRAG rifle sight, pre Spanish-American War, all original,
decent condition, crisp tight action, complete with original
tension spring. Easily fits all Krag rifles or carbines, all mod-
els, beginning to end, as the screw hole placement is all the
same. A very accurate sight can be fitted to other guns. Much
more rugged than Trapdoor sights, they are firm & strong not
worn, loose or wobbly. A good chance to accurize your flint-
lock deer rifle, you can now make your one shot really count.
A sight like this would cost a lot of money to make today. Take
advantage of real American 1890s high quality workmanship
for a fraction of its true value. Also well suited for an unusual
NECK CHAIN PENDANT - it has a good look. Yes, we have
already sold some for jewelry! While they last, out of the box.
Very hard-to-find. Only ..........................................$19.00 ea.
Civil War Bayonet Locking Clasps: For .58 caliber
Civil War musket socket bayonets. THEY FIT Springfield,
Enfield, Tower & most Confederate .58 & .577 musket sock-
et bayonets, 1855-1875, & all .50-70 rifle socket bayonets.
Compete with original set screws. Will also work on slightly
narrower 45-70 Trapdoor bayonets although slight loose.
Still, will improve appearance greatly. Nice neck chain pen-
dant. Decent condition. Very hard-to-find. Rare ..$12.50 ea.
